THE WORKSHOP OF THEATRE AND LANGUAGE IS
CREATED BY A COLLABORATION AMONG ORGANIZATIONS, GROUPS AND
INDIVIDUALS WHO BELIEVE IN ART AS A WAY TO MAKING SOCIAL AND CULTURAL CHANGE. THE LABORATORY AND IS COMPLETELY FREE AIMED AT WOMEN OF DIFFERENT NATIONALITIES (ITALIAN AND MIGRANTS) WHO WISH TOTAKE A PATH IN DEEP MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING SHELTERED FROM PREJUDICES,
FEAR AND CHAOS OF EVERYDAY LIFE.
STARTING FROM THE SEARCH AND SHARING
SONGS, FAIRY TALES, POEMS, OWN LYRICS OF ORAL AND
WRITTETRADITION, WE’ LL WORK STEP BY STEP TO
THE CONSTRUCTION OF A PERFORMANCE.
THE LABORATORY ALSO INCLUDES RECREATIONAL AND ARTISTIC ACTIVITIES AND FOR CHILDREN THAT WILL BE FOLLOWED BY PROFESSIONAL EDUCATOR.
THEREFORE THE PARTICIPANTS CAN BRING THEIR CHILDREN TO THE WORKSHOP.

MODULE I : CONSTRUCTION OF THE GROUP ( March 2014 )
Creating the frame of the group. Sharing the objectives of the workshop , presentation of
participants and mutual understanding, the first theatrical and body techniques.
MODULE II : INDIVIDUAL WORK ON TRADITIONAL MATERIALS ( April 2014 )
Research of traditional materials significant for each of the
participants work of dramatization and sharing in group
materials with an approach that considers and enhances the
multilingual and intercultural dimension .
MODULE III : WORK ON THE TEXT OF OTHER CULTURES ( May 2014 )
Research, reading , sharing, understanding of a meaningful literary text
written by a woman . In this module , an hour will be devoted to the analysis of the text in its linguistic aspects ,( morphological, syntactic , lexical and semantic ) and the other will be
instead restricted to the study of the proper theatrical text.
MODULE IV : WORK ON THE BODY AND SPACIAL DYNAMICS (until June 13, 2014 )
The theater is a powerful tool to open non-verbal communication channels that facilitate and support the verbal language. Starting from this consideration, iin this module, we will work on the knowledge of body language and spatial dynamics related to it.
MODULE V : CONSTRUCTION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A PERFORMANCE(until 30 June 2014 )
Design and realization of a final show that builds on the experience of the laboratory and be a concrete instrument to share intercultural issues with all the citizenship.
MODULE VI : FROM LABORATORY TO THE WORLD (1st July – August 8, 2014 )
During the summer, suggestions , questions and experiences of laboratory will be returned to the city. It will be realized a documentation work and will be offered workshops and / or interactive events to involve the citizens.
